Hello,

I just picked up my first DJ controller from Sweetwater today, and while the fader works a little bit, I've noticed it's not completely muting one track or the other. For example, if I have it turned all the way to the left you can still hear a little bit of the music on the right (and vice-versa). I've looked through the forums here a little bit and all of my settings seem to be correct, but maybe there's something I'm missing. Really hoping it's not a hardware issue because that would absolutely suck. Maybe my drivers aren't all the way updated?

Laptop Specs:
M1 Macbook Pro (2020)
8GB RAM
256GB Storage
MacOs v13.0.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: I just downloaded the most recent driver and the issue was not resolved.

Hello Rhys King,

Welcome to the user forum.

If your DJ software is Djuced, if you listen to the master output (DJControl Inpulse 200 speakers output) set on channels 1-2 in Djuced > Settings > Audio, then

moving the crossfader fully on left should mute deck 2 in the master output
moving the crossfader fully on right should mute deck 1 in the master output.

If in that setting, the crossfader does not mute the opposite deck, then please

If this is not the case, please precise the DJ software you use, and your audio and mixer setting in this DJ software.
DJControl Inpulse 200 is not a hardware mixer but a software mixer so the sound you hear comes as much from you software settings as from your DJ controller.

Noob mistake, sorry for the hassle. What had happened was I had the headphone buttons on for both 1 and 2 instead of just the master track. Regardless, thank you for taking the time to help!
