Hello all!

I desperately need help with the Djuiced sofware!

Problem 1: I have a problem were my software becomes unresponsive, but ONLY when deck 1 is running! So basically when I fade over to deck 1 there will be a distorted cracking sound after a few seconds. The output of the deck will get super distorted and doesn't react to neither input like volume, pause, filter by my Herkules 500 or even in the software. The software is NOT frozen, I can move the faders but it seems like a invisible deck plays in the background instead of deck 1 or 2. I can still load up deck 2 and play a song and all. It's super annoying during my twitch streams.

Little bit more background: my files are all mp3, 320 Bitrate and analysed already. PC is usually not even close to be at it's limit. Mainboard: GIGABYTE B450M S2H, CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, GPU: GiBy8GB D6 RTX 2070, RAM: 32 GB, Windows 64bit.

I plan to have Reallife dj events and I am scared of this "bug" to happen in a venue:/ there was also no recent update that could have caused the issues! Never happened for months and now even 3 times in one stream. Pls Help...

Problem 2: relocating files does NOTHING! I use several thematic playlists that i use as a pool for music, sorted into tier lists for myself. For example a Depeche Mode track I like will be in my synth pop gold tier list, 80ies gold tier list etc.
Once I change the file path by renaming the folder it is in it becomes unplayable from the playlist, which makes sense as annoying as it is. I understand that you can go to the settings and check your library. It shows me the missing files. I hit relocate and all the files show as relocated. They work within the software again, but NOT the files within the playlists. Is there a way of preventing having to put several files back into the playlists manually? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm so frustrated with this otherwise great software Any help is much appreciated!

Hello DJLoomy,

Welcome to the forum.
I have just  forwarded your message to the Djuced team.

You can cut & paste your message from another text edition software, but please copy as raw text format since if you copy in rich text format, your message may be badly displayed (your message was in a black background making it difficult to read until it was corrected by a bot).

Please complete your profile as described here and precise
- your version and built of Windows,
- you use "DJControl Inpulse 500 ASIO (ASIO)"in Djuced > Settings > Audio : Audio device
- in Hercules control panel, check the USB buffer size and ASIO buffer (and make sure you select 4ms at least, not below).

Precise if you are playing samples when this issue occurs.

Precise if, in Serato DJ Lite, you get or not a similar issue (to know whether the issue is hardware or software related).

Thank you very much for the reply! I filled out my profile with hopefully all necessary informations. I am sorry for the horrible formatting, I was just copying my post from a Herkules Inpulse facebook group.
I use a goxlr audio itnerface when I lvie stream on twitch with streamlabs OBS. I only have the GO XLR ASIO driver as an option within DJuiced. This however results in my headset, which is plugged into my inpulse 500, not having output sound. I sue "Herkules Loudspeaker (WASAPI). I have no option for a Dj control inpulse 500 ASIO. The issue explained in my first post is a rare ocassion, I am just afraid that it might happen while dj-ing in an actual club. I heard AMD processors can cause problems? Could this be the issue?
To answer your questions: I do not play samples when the bug occurs and I use 512 samples

For the second problem with the playlists: I had the same issue again. There is no way for me to change a folders name (which results in a different file path) and relocate it to work again within a playlist. relocating does find the general files in DJUICED, and they work again, but not the same song within a playlist. Even after relocating. Is there no relocate button jsut for the playlists?

I do have several playlists that i use as genre Song pools. So they are crucial for my way of DJ-ing.  I do not want to redo all that stuff after relocating files. Even manually relocating within a playlist (which is quite a daunting task) does not make the playlist file playable again. This basically means that I cant copy my playlists from my main desktop pc to dj laptop, bcs it would require to redo everything from scratch

Thank you very much for the help so far!

In my opinion, you should not use the Go XLR soundcard as a DJ Device.

You should Install the Hercules ASIO Drivers, and use them for your main mix.
Guide jere : https://www.djuced.com/kb/i-can-feel-latency-on-my-windows-pc-what-can -i-do/

Then, you can use your Go XLR as a secondary master in the DJUCD audio settings, so you can send a copy of the master Signal to the GoXLR.
But also, be sure to use the Go XLR in the same sample rate of the Inpulse 500 if possible.

Anyway, using 2 differents audiocards in the same software is not recommended, especially on Windows.

My recommendation of setup should be that way to minimise the issues:
1- Used DJUCED with the Inpulse ASIO driver only the soundcard is made for this.
2- Use one of the physical Master output of the Inpulse 500 with a RCA/Minijack or JACK6,35/MiniJack cable to go into the Line IN of the Go XLR and get the music signal from here.

It will avoid DJUCED to have to compute 2 soundcards at the same time.

For the playlist issues, If you navigate between computers and already organise your music in folders/subfolders, I would recommend you to not use the "Playlists" inside DJUCED, but Just drop your folder into the "Favorites".

For exemple, I drop my "Tracks" main folders, containing lots of subfolders by genre.
If I rename some subfolders, or add some tracks, DJUCED refreshes everything.
The only "con" I have is I can put the songs into an order, but for that I just do playlists.

Hey Victo, thank you for your reply!

Well, the way I have my stuff hooked up is as follows:
I am currently using a 1 pc setup for live streaming / DJ-ing (I plan to buy a dedicated dj laptop that I will use for live streaming aswell).
My Inpusle 500 is hooked up to my pc via USB, within Djuced I use the Herkules Controller ASIO driver. I used the WASAPI driver before, recently downloaded the ASIO one. The problem of the crash at random times remains.
I am not the only one with this specific crash, according to a Herkules facebook group and other posts I found on the internet. So I doubt its a GO XLR issue. I could be wrong of course!

Do you recommend going into my GO XLR directly via line in?

I like your playlist solution. Problem is that I have some songs that are ins everal lists. Wouldn´t this cluster up my storage too much? I guess this is a individual issue I  need to figure out for myself:D

Thank you for your help!
