Hello Ritters,

There are several possible reasons for a hum/buzz in speakers.

1) The most likely cause of the noise is related to the bus power.
Please check if unplugging the power adapter of the laptop suppresses the noise.
If yes, placing a USB hub which has a power adapter between the computer and DJC Inpulse 500 should suppress the noise.

2) A possible cause is a USB type changer
If your macBook has USB-C connectors, and if you use USB-C to USB-type A changer, check if the USB type changer is a branded adapter.
If it is a branded adapter as https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MJ1M2AM/A/usb-c-to-usb-adapter  , it is not the cause.
If it is a very cheep adapter (below US$ 5), I may be suspicious.

3) Microphone noise
In case you have a microphone connected, can you decrease the microphone volume?
