We burn eeprom binary file with burner and console launched successfully.

I did also update the latest version of Hercules firmware with HDJ Updater.

The console works properly without errors.

Hi I think my 4-mx might have the same firmware problem.
Could someone send me the eeprom bin for the hercules 4-mx? and how to install it please?

Also in case it could be relevant information, I am able to connect the console to the pc but it requires a long process of reinstalling drivers and connecting many times with and without holding the mic or loadAB buttons until it connects. Its never detected on the first try and thats why I think it could be a faulty firmware. And obviously its not ideal to have to deal with this for about an hour everytime I try to mix. I use windows 10 btw.

Hello Beeng,

If your DJ Console 4-Mx is detected but requires a long process, the issue is probably not a purely firmware issue.

I see 4 possible explanations for your problem:

1) Account permissions: the driver or a part of the driver was not installed on an administrator account on your computer, so please:
- connect to your Windows 10 computer with an administrator account
- Uninstall DJHERCULESMIX Products Series drivers
- Reboot you computer, and log with an administrator account,
- Install Hercules last drivers, 2018_HDSJ_1,

2) Power supply
4-Mx may be a bit power hungry with USB power setting set in Windows 10, so connect a USB hub powered by a power adapter between the computer and the 4-Mx.
Also disable Windows power setting made to save power on the USB ports:
- Right-click on My computer > Properties > Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers,
- Right-click on the first line "USB Root Hub" and click "Properties"
- Go to the tab "Power Management", and uncheck the box "Allow computer to turn off this device to save energy"/"Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

3) Windows 10 Fast Startup
Microsoft has introduced since Windows 8 a fast startup mode which is generally OK, but sometimes causes detection issues of USB or FireWire devices connected before the computer startup.
Here is the way to disable this setting:
a- Right-click on Windows logo, select "Power Options"

b- Click on Additional Power Settings

c- Click on "Choose what the power button does"

d- Click on "Change Settings that are currently unavailable"

e- uncheck the field "Turn on fast startup"

f- click on "Save changes"

4) USB cable length
The USB cable included with DJ Console 4-Mx may be too long sometimes on today's UBS 3.0 ports. Can you try replacing it with a shorter USB 2.0 cable as 1m, as Lindy 1m USB 2.0 A to B
