Hi guys,

Im wondering how you "upload" your own samples to use with the 1,2,3 & 4 buttons when in sample mode?

I was messing with the samples button the other day after mixing a bit and when i opened the samples section that shows down the side of the "deck" i have 4 samples uploaded of a track i had been mixing, but ive no idea how i did that lol.

Specifically, i already have mp3s of accapellas that i would love to upload to the samples section so that rather than upload and play the mp3 with the accapella on it, i could just map it to 1 of the 4 samples button so i could just hit that button while mixing etc.

Regards

To use samples, simply drag them with your mouse from DJUCED file browser onto the sampler slot you wish to use for playback.

Samples as also created when a loop is enabled on a deck and the MAGIC button is pressed. The loop will then be divided into 4 distinct samples and automatically uploaded to the sampler for immediate use. This also also save them in your sample library for later use.

This process is explained in the user manual. :-)

Thanks for the reply m8, i didnt realise you could just drag the file into the sample slot. Im not able to check this just now (not on the pc with the software on), im wondering, when u drag it in, does it auto queue itself to the beginning of the sample so theres no "gap" if you hit the sample button?

Hello,

You can drag short audio files on the sampler players.
When you drag an audio file in a sampler player, the reading position is set at the beginning of the sample.
