Hercules DJControl Instinct, DJ Control Air and DJ Control Air+ have a hole on their rear panel compatible with cable locks often called Kensington locks.

Kensington (http://www.kensington.com) has defined a format of locks cable for computers which is a standard to prevent the removal of many devices. http://www.kensington.com/us/us/4482/locks#.VBMCzmOwTpc

You can use this type of cable lock to attach your DJ controller if you perform in public areas and take a break: the lock prevents the removal of your mobile DJ controller while you are out.

Here is how you can use this type lock hole with DJControl Air+.

1) Remove the rubber cap covering the hole.

2) Take your lock cable, wind it around a non-removable element (as a bar), pass the lock in the loop on the other end of the cable.

3) Detail of the lock

5) Turn the key

6) Remove the key. The controller is locked

The controller is also large enough for comfortable mixing, with lots of space between the controls - and let’s not forget the non-slip feet, that stand tough through even the most intense mixing sessions.

Simplicity and advanced features rolled into one

Some advanced controller features found on Hercules DJ 4Set are, without a doubt, its 2 large touch-sensitive jog wheels. Measuring 12cm in diameter - the same size as scratching jog wheels on DJ CD players - and featuring touch sensors on their top surface, they detect the weight of the DJ’s hand and enable "Touch Wheel" mode, allowing the user to stop/restart playback, or engage in some serious scratching.
The highly distinctive "ring" on the base of the jog wheels - the signature of the new Hercules mixing solutions - features a super-ergonomic design, providing users with intuitive and simple pitch control.
Hercules DJ 4Set also includes green or red backlighting on its jog wheels and buttons, making the controls easier to locate and providing enhanced usability.

An invitation to performance

DJ 4Set also features all of the audio capabilities users need to host parties worthy of the name: 4 channels (including 2 for the mix, and 1 stereo headphone output for previewing tracks), plus a microphone input with a talk-over function, allowing the DJ to pump things up even more on the dance floor.

Last but not least - in keeping with the latest DJing trends - the controller lets users mix not only on 2 decks, but on 4 virtual decks as well, thanks to the very practical deck indicators on the console’s mixing surface (A, B, C, D). To let users employ their creativity to the fullest, Hercules DJ 4Set offers 60 controls in 2-deck mode, and 112 controls in 4-deck mode. 
The layout of controls has been optimized to make using the console quick and easy to learn. All controls are MIDI-based, and therefore independent of one another, for even greater ease of use.

Hercules DJ 4Set is bundled with VirtualDJ® LE DJC Edition (supporting 4-deck mixing). It is also compatible with all 2 and 4-deck MIDI mixing software.
