To control 4 decks with 2 2-deck controllers, you must
- control virtual decks 1 and 2 with one controller we call primary controller
- control virtual decks 3 and 4 with another controller we call secondary controller.
Djuced 5 cannot support twice the same controller, you need 2 different models, for example DJControl Inpulse 200 and primary controller and DJControl Starlight as secondary controller.
The secondary controller needs a specific mapping to control decks 3 and 4: this mapping is included in Djuced 5.0.8 for P32 DJ and DJControl Compact, and new mappings downloadable from Hercules support website for DJControl Starlight, DJControl Inpulse 200, 300 and 500.
Use 2 controllers in Djuced,
1) If the secondary mapping is not included yet in Djuced, copy the xml mapping file
- in Windows, in the folder C:\Users\YourName\DJUCED\midi
- in macOS in folder MacintoshHD > Users > YourName > Documents > DJUCED > midi
2) connect the 2 DJ controllers to computer,
3) run Djuced
4) In Djuced, go in Settings> Mapping
5) Select the controller you plan to set as secondary controller, and click on Next
6) Select the mapping for deck 3 4 in the mapping list, and click on OK
  7) You come back to Djuced mixing interface, and you see a short pop up screen of the last mapping you have loaded.
 8) To avoid any issue, I recommend to close Djuced, and restart it.
9) Then in Djuced, select a 4-deck interface, for example "4Decks Horizontal" for a large screen, "4Decks vertical" for a small screen.
And that's it, you control decks 1 and 2 with the primary controller and decks 3 and 4 with the secondary controller.
