djuced problems

Hi there.

I just got my new Hercules DJ Control Air,
- installed everything without connecting the controller,
- and connected it when the instalation was finished,
- started the programm,
everything was fine, I loaded my music and mixed it for a few minutes.

Then the complete system hung up.
Then I installed the drivers again, because Windows told me there were no drivers for the controller.
I started djuced again and now the programm won't read my music.
I have a folder (public) on the desktop, where many subfolders with my music are stored.
Djuced is showing the subfolders, but won't show the music files which are in them, but if I copy tracks into the main folder (public), the programm named it public.ink(???)).
That is pretty bad: when I started for the first time, it was working, now its a mess.
Please help me!!!

VDJ and loop in and out points

On some music files I can't seem to end a loop at the exact spot where I selected. I am using an RMX with VDJ Pro and I can select the in (starting) point of the loop precisely, but when I select the out (stopping) point of the loop it creates a totally different out point that then doesn't work with the beat. Is there something I am not doing correctly or need to fix? Thanks.

Running on Mac OSX 10.6.8

Ive installed djuced and the updated drivers on an administrator account on my iMac but the Dj Control Air doesn't respond in Djuced. The midi light flashes when I mover the faders or touch buttons but it doesn't respond in the djuced program, so I'm unable to search files or mix. I'm totally new to this and have been unable to figure anything out for the last 3 days. If anyone could help or has experienced a similar problem and solved it, could you help me, I'm desperate to start using the controller.

Akai APC40 and Hercules RMX

Does anyone know if when you use an APC40 and an RMX on the same computer do you then have to run Virtual DJ and Ableton Live at the same time? Are there any software conflicts and how powerful of a computer would you need for this? Thank you.

Hi guys,
i've been hovering aroundthe site for a bit so i thought it was about time i introduce myself my names Max, and had decks and viynal(mostly hip& hop house) since 88?
but like a lot of us older dudes i found it difficult to set up and use in the house as three kids cams along and took over the house and the 12" ended up in box's in the attic since we moved 8 years ago, so after my kid got the hercules DJ MP3 controller last september and after playing with it i found it good fun and was good with the VDJ sortware which we have been using for about 12 months but i found the MP3 unit a bit toyish so i treated myself to a RMX for my birthday in December.
i've got to say i love it the feel weight, quality of the components, with the exception of the crossfader it feels less robust,o than that i love it.
We've got a friend interested again in DJ'ing and mixing and the upshot of it we have put together a website that does live broadcasts usually on a Fri / Sat night whilst we have a few beers, and encourage our friends via facebok and twitther to drop in requsts and comments, it's only for shits and giggles three 40 year olds who have an ear for a great tune, just playing about for a laugh but really enjoying it.
we're even in the process of doing a gig for friends and family approx 100 with the proceeds going to charity, like i said we're not out to make money out of this just get like minded people with us for a party
, but you never know we might persuade Havier at cafe mambo to let us do a night this year.

Question about headphones with 4mx

I just got a 4mx and I used to have the mk4 so I uninstalled the drivers and installed the new hercules drivers. I plugged it all up and I got it working somewhat but not exactly.
in virtual dj I have the config set up like this
input laptop and mic
output headphones and speaker...master chan 1/2 and then chan 3/4
and soundcard 4mx

I'm running windows 7 and I have my headphones plugged into the jack at the top of the right side.
so when I am playing a track and I load up the next track I can't hear it when I play it unless I move the fader over (in the headphones). the only other way to hear it is to turn the mix cue knob over and then I can hear both tracks playing but I can't hear the upcoming track by itself playing at all. I spent 3 hours last night messing with the config to try to figure this out and now I am at a road block looking for help. any suggestions.

I plan on calling hercules later today if need be. I have a gig tomorrow night and I want to use my new controller rather than re install the mk4.

Can I run 4 decks using an RMX and 2 turntables?

Can I control 4 decks using an RMX and 2 turntables? I have Virtual DJ Pro, an RMX and 2 Technics 1210's. Can I use the RMX to work as 2 decks in a 4 deck system and then use the turntables as the other 2 decks? Or is there a way to have the RMX control 4 decks? Thank you for your help.

Been mixing vynil for ages - and decided to go digital. Bought Dj Control Air, but having a total nightmare getting it to work through my iMAC G5, istalled the software and drivers ets, but cant seem to control it from my consol, get a message saying MIDI not present.... got power but no control.

Anyway hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, so I can get on with leaning how to mix all over again...

Help - Midi input device not present

Just bought a Dj control air, for my iMac, running OSV 10.6.8, installed the software - drivers and DJUCED, unfortunately I havbe not control, loading any tunes etc, and keep getting a red message at the bottom of DJUCED say the MIDI isn't present.

Ther is power to the consol as the lights are on, but thats as far as it goes. I really haven't got a clue what s wrong or why etc.

This is my first step into digital mixing - an old timer with turntables

Can somebody help?
