On the screen, next to each button, you will notice a little down arrow. Simply click on it and a menu will appear, allowing you to select which FX you wish to use for that specific button.

You should also download VirtualDJ 5 DJC manual from Hercules support website http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=2&fid=2

since you will find functions you have not seen yet in VirtualDJ 5 DJC.

My problem with this is making them stick. After I shut down, even after I have saved, once I restart VDJ the buttons are no longer there.
And then God made turntablez!

Do you mean that your problem is that, each time you start VirtualDJ, you must re-assign the effects on buttons 1 to 6 because the assignment has been lost?
Which version of VirtualDJ do you use (please precise the complete version, as VirtualDJ 5.2.2 DJC or VirtualDJ 6.1 Pro)?
What is your operating system (precise the complete version , as Mac OS 10.5.8 or Windows XP 32-bit Service Pack 3)?

Hello all,
I'm having the same issue.

I'm running VirtualDJ 6.0.2 Pro on Win 7 64-bit.
How can I get them to stick?
