Good evening to everyone!
I own a Hercules 4-mx console and Traktor Pro 2... I've downloaded the mapper from the hercules ts website, but my goal is to control 2 decks and 2 samples decks with my console, assigning decks A & B to track decks, and decks C & D to sample decks...
is that possible?
Maybe Hercules could release a mapper for this thing: that could be very useful for everyone I think...

Hello,
1) Did you try using the TSI file which was updated here? It is not the same version as the one you tested on February 10th.
2) You should enter your equipment in your profile ? If you don't write your version of Traktor Pro 2, your operating system, and which TSI file you use, you reduce the chance a visitor of the forum posts an answer.
Answering to technical questions with
- more technical details than needed is NEVER a problem,
- less technical details than needed is ALWAYS a problem.

The mappings are provided so your can start using your controller right away with Traktor and use the basic functionnalities the software has to offer.
As every DJ is different, this mapping may not suite your style, but we cannot provide a different mapping for everyone. With a bit of preparation and reading (Chapter 13.20 & 20 of the user manual are good place to start), you will find that modifying or creating your own mapping is not as difficult as it seems.
Regarding the specific case of the sample decks, some attemps were made to create a mapping that would include them, but never to a satisfying degree. Moreover, NI also modified the way the samplers works with every updates since (and will do so again with the upcoming v2.5 in April) , which means that it would need to be constantly updated.

Thanks a lot for your answers...!
I'll try the new mapper as Maxdjack suggested me! For the sample decks, that was my issue, I'll try to map the console on my own in my (little) free time ;)
however it's the latest version of Traktor Pro 2 (don't remember if 2.12 or newer... It updates automatically :D ) and I run it under Win 7 64 bit ;)
