I have (2) HP DV1000 series notebooks. One is a Celeron, one is a Core 2 Duo. Both of them will not install the RMX. We tinker with the USB settings but no luck.
No powered USB hub = the computer might not even boot, it will hang in BIOS, VGA graphics go wild even..
Powered USB hub = computer will boot, but not recognize RMX plugged in, and lights will stay flashing.
I just can't seem to get this to work on this series of notebooks. My friend got it working on an HP or Acer (Forgot) AMD notebook....
Could it be just a poor USB hub I was using? Does anyone have any ideas for this?
