 So, I am trying to map the 4-mx in traktor pro 2 to also work as a sample deck on decks c and d. I have gotten the sample decks to play, mute, and erase. However, I want to erase the sample the same way as hot cues. I can't figure this out, I tried copying the hotcue delete configuration. And I'm also having trouble getting the sample from the loop recorder onto the different sample slots. Any help would be greatly appreciated for a new dj. Thank you,

 Hi Caustin,
wich version of traktor u're using ?
for traktor 2.0.1 (sure) i did a mapping and it work exactly like the Hots cues : 1,2,3,4 button for decks C&D etc..

Hold The Load On Left Deck btn and Press (1,2,3,4) :
    1- Load Samples to Sample Deck (1,2,3,4) if The Sample Deck is Empty.
    2- Unload The Deck Samples selected (1,2,3,4) if the sample Deck is Stopped, and Loaded.
* Press 1,2,3 or 4 Btn (WITH SHIFT BTN OFF) : Play Samples
* Press Again to Stop Sample
* With the SHIFT ON : Sample Trigger/Retrigger ( i dont see the f*** difference between them)
(I made the (1,2,3,4) btn to Set the samples Volume to  80% when pressed.)
* Press Deck C/D Play btn to PlayStop All the Sampes of Deck C together like a normal track.( the same for deck D)
* Press Deck C/D Cue btn to Group Trigger
* Press Sync btn To Sync the Samples Phase in the corresponding Deck

mhm, what else, i don't really remmber cause i'm building a totally new mapping (on the Ean Golden way), so as i say if u re using Traktor 2.0.1 version,  it will works for u,  For the (2.0.2, 2.0.3 .. i didnt try them but i think it will works too cause it works for traktor 2.1).. If ure interested just give me a sign and i'll send it for u or share it or whatever..

I wish i could help, but i depend on u're traktor version, so i don't want to give u a wrong way ( since traktor v2.1 inserted other functions/ options in the mapping section)..All i can say is that u need one or 2 modifier and a full of conditions to set and it's f*** boaring.

By the way, i'm not English neither American, so, no comment about my poor english..lol
