Akai APC40 and Hercules RMX

 Does anyone know if when you use an APC40 and an RMX on the same computer do you then have to run Virtual DJ and Ableton Live at the same time?  Are there any software conflicts and how powerful of a computer would you need for this?  Thank you.

 Virtual DJ supports REWIRE, which would allow you to run Abelton Live as plugin of sort. Page 18 of the following guide explains how to proceed:

Note that you'll need Virtual DJ PRO FULL in order to do this.

Obviously, the more processing power and memory your system has, the better it will perform, but every system is particular and will need to be tweaked accordinly. Here is a guide to get you started on optimizing your system:
