I own a Hercules 4-mx console and Traktor Pro 2... I've downloaded the mapper from the hercules ts website, but my goal is to control 2 decks and 2 samples decks with my console, assigning decks A & B to track decks, and decks C & D to sample decks...
is that possible?

Maybe Hercules could release a mapper for this thing: that could be very useful for everyone I think...

I find that after I edit a tag on an mp3, VirtualDJ does not read the recently editted tag. Instead it still reads the original tags that was present the 1st time VirtualDJ saw the file.

Questions:

1 - How do it get VirtualDJ to read the most recent tag updates to the files when this editting is done outside of the software?

2- I know that the program uses XML files to store info. Does this have anything to do with updating the library?

I have a Hercules DJ Console MP3 and I am trying to use it with NI Traktor 1.2.7 in Windows 7 64 bit.

I have the latest drivers from http://ts.hercules.com/eng/, also I have followed the steps in the .pdf. The controller works fine with VirtualDJ.

I mapped the controllers using the .tks files from the above URL and I set the In Port to Hercules Dj Controller, the Out Port is are None or All Ports. 

The audio is internally, DELL laptop.

I think I tried every possible combination and still the CTRL button is greyed out, only that mixer button lights up when selecting the In Port to Hercules. It worked before for me on a Win XP laptop and right now it seems I just can`t figure it out.

Please guys, every info would be of great help as I urgently need this.

I  just got my new Hercules DJ Control Air,
- installed everything without connecting the controller,
- and connected it when the instalation was finished,
- started the programm,
everything was fine, I loaded my music and mixed it for a few minutes.

Then the complete system hung up.
Then I installed the drivers again, because Windows told me there were no drivers for the controller.
I started djuced again and now the programm won't read my music.
I have a folder (public) on the desktop, where many subfolders with my music are stored.
Djuced is showing the subfolders, but won't show the music files which are in them, but if I copy tracks into the main folder (public), the programm named it public.ink(???)).
That is pretty bad: when I started for the first time, it was working, now its a mess.
Please help me!!!

Ive installed djuced and the updated drivers on an administrator account on my iMac but the Dj Control Air doesn't respond in Djuced. The midi light flashes when I mover the faders or touch buttons but it doesn't respond in the djuced program, so I'm unable to search files or mix. I'm totally new to this and have been unable to figure anything out for the last 3 days. If anyone could help or has experienced a similar problem and solved it, could you help me, I'm desperate to start using the controller.
