problems with rmx and virtual dj pro!!! help

 i just bought a dell studio laptop with 3 gb of ram. when i use virtual dj every so often the a sort of cut in the track. its not bad but i cant have this if im playing live. ive done everything i can to the performance settings but it still does it. what else can i do or should i try different software.

 Hello Didz,

Please detail completely 
- your problem 
- your configuration computer model, processor, OS version (the good XP, with nice response time, or the bad Vista,which means your machine will always be slow), service pack, 
- all settings : USB power settings, are you connected to a powered USB hub, have you disabled the Wifi ect...
- your version of VirtualDJ (is it VirtualDJ Pro 5.2.1? / How does it behave in VirtualDJ DJC 5.2.1), your version of Rmx drivers,
otherwise nobody can help you efficiently.

Also run a latency test, to see if you got any bad devices/drivers,

Dells are notorious for this
