hey guys.
im getting a massive headache trying to get my mp3 e2 running with my netbook.
ive downloaded and installed the kernel module and control panel but ubuntu wont recognise the device, it works fine on my girlfriends mac so i know theres nothing wrong with the controller itself.
am i missing something?
would the kernel module have any dependencies i wouldnt know about?

If you look at the release notes, you will notice that the MP3 e2 (as well as the recently released Mk4) are not yet supported yet by the kernel module.
Last I heard, there was plans to add these controllers (as well as support for recent Linux kernels), but development ressources are probably being used on other projects at the moment.
