I have recently bought the Hercules RMX console, it came with the virtual dj software. I know I can record sets of it but, the configure button which is mentioned in the manual is not on the screen. I see the record button but it doesnt allow me to configure a record path.
Can anyone help? |

You are using the most recent update for Virtual DJ (5.2.2)?
Normally, when first clicking on the REC button at the top right corner of the interface, it should pop up a window allowing your to indicate where you want the recorded file to be saved.

Wait, my software doesn't offer recording options! Did I miss something? I also bought the DJ RMX Console, also with Virtual DJ software, but nothing on the screen indicates that I can record my sets. HELP!

Hello Mofifty4,
You must update your VirtualDJ 5 DJC version to the last release VDJ 5 DJC release, which is 5.2.2. - Go on VirtualDJ website and create an account http://www.virtualdj.com/users/register.html - type your serial number of VirtualDJ 5 DJC (sticked on your the enveloppe of Rmx installation CD) - and, in the download area, download the last version of VirtualDJ for the Rmx http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
In VirtualDJ 5.2.2 DJC, the REC button is on the top bar, close to the More button.
