My turn for a problem, lol
I haven't had any problem with my RMX since I got it nearly a year ago. I installed the latest driver package (Apr 09) the day it was released. But over the last few days I've developed a problem
Sometimes Vista doesn't recognizies the RMX. The little red cross on the control panel icon remains. I get a error message saying the RMX is not recognizies, I OK that, then the control panel Icon disappears. But this seems odd to me, when I open VirtualDJ up some of the backlights come on (which is normal) and can control the software and also I get audio.
It's done this 5 times now. And to get the control panel back again I've had to install the drivers again, which I've done 5 time
So today I've ended up install the Nov 08 driver package, and everything is great again.
I'm pretty clued up with the RMX, and yes I use the same USB port all the time. But it seems with this new driver package something is not quite right.

I had problems with the new updates.
I finally unistalled everything I had from rmx, and then I installed the new update. That seems to fix the problem for me.
When you installed the new update, did you uninstalled the old one first?

When you installed the new update, did you uninstalled the old one first?
Yes, I uninstalled the previous drivers manually as I always do
