 Hi there! I have a DJ Console RMX and have tried the DJ Controll Steel witch seems to have a different VirtualDJ 5 edition... Is it the Pro version or just the same version as the RMX but with a different skin? I am also asking because it seems to be able to do things that i can't do with the RMX version...

DJ Control Steel comes with a similar version of VirtualDJ 5 DJC as DJ Console Rmx, but it is based on VirtualDJ DJC 5.2.1.
If you have VirtualDJ DJC 5.0.7 which came with your DJ Console Rmx, you can update it to the version 5.2.1 on VirtualDJ website at http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html, the version 5.2.1 includes the record of the mixes.

For the additional functions which are available with DJ Control Steel but not in the Rmx, as 
- the shift function which double the set of keys 1 to 6 into a set of keys 7 to 12),
- the 2 roatary controls to modulate the effects,
these are hardware functions, not software functions.
Please precise which function you have seen in VirtualDJ DJC 5 with the DJ Control Steel and you look for in the Rmx.
