I am also wondering and questioning myself how to do this Onbeslist I already tried a few times but it just won't work with me either. Ustream recognizes the soundcard but won't stream the audio. Maybe it's something with the setup in VDJ or just the cables, I have no clue also. Pls do help us, it would be much appreciated !

Unfortunately I too have had the same issue... Im thinking I might have to route the output from Hercules through a mixer and then route it back into the line inputs of the hercules. I think there needs to be an input going through the herculesline in..

Things often look more complicated than they really are...

I'm sure all of your computer have an integrated soundcard? This is the one you need to configure in Ustream.

In the soundcard configuration, set your audio ‘Wave Out’ or ‘Stereo Mix’. This will enable Ustream to record both the microphone and the audio output of your external source (in this case your DJ Console).

You will need to connect the Output of the console to the Line In of the integrated soundcard.

I'm sorry to say this, but I can't figure out how to do this.
Normally, my set up is like this:
Output 1-2 connected with my speakers.
Output 3-4 is for prelistening with my headphones.
So I don't use the Line in from my computer.
In VDJ the sound set up is then like this:
Soundcard = Hercules RMX
Master 1-2, Headphones 3-4

Now, if I'm correct, you are telling us to put the Output (out of the Hercules RMX) into the Line In of the computer. But what is your input then ? And what about the speakers and prelistening ?

I did check the box 'Stereo Mix' but I just can't figure out what to do with my integrated soundcard and the one on the Hercules RMX.

Thx for your patience.

As was mentioned earlier on this thread was about Ustreaming with the Hercules Dj Rmx and Ustream recognizing the Hercules but no sound coming out on Ustream. What you have to do is use your laptops soundcard and in my case I saw my laptops mic as the input device. in this case you take your rca outputs from the hercules and route into your laptop mic input, you will probably need a 1/8" phono to rca y adapter. You should then see your Ustream volume meter light up when you play music in your virtual dj. Good luck

Ok, now it's clear. Tried it and it does work indeed, thank you so much.
Sadly, the quality is bad. Any suggestions on setup in VDJ or anything else ? Ustream's Audio quality is at 44kHz and is standing on halve volume.

Thx for your patience and once again, I appreciate your help.
